Chi Varnado, a Ramona resident, has been contributing writer for The San Diego Reader. Her memoir, A CANYON TRILOGY: Life Before, During and After the Cedar Fire, was a 2008 San Diego Book Award Finalist, and her children’s book The Tale of Broken Tail, was a 2013 San Diego Book Award Finalist.
